We are always encouraged to never give up, strive for our dreams and believe in our potential.
The problem in today’s society is everyone seems to be aiming for dreams and aspirations that aren’t necessarily self-made. You see someone achieve in something great – you get turned on by this, you want the same, but you forget strengths differ amongst people & begin to self-attack when you can’t reach their potential.
On the other hand we have been conditioned to become complacent, if we fail, we give up, we take it personally. We must however acknowledge learning is what got us to adulthood, we learnt behaviours, dialogue and how to socialise through conditioning – falling and stepping back up.
From riding a bike with stabilisers, to riding a bike with two wheels and grazing our knees, then riding a bike and succeeding, and winning the Tour de France (you get my drift)
No one ever told us it would be easy – and if they did, maybe because they knew you had the potential there to succeed & do even better
Setbacks shouldn’t hold you back.
If you hit rock bottom, or you didn’t make the role, then the situation probably wasn’t right for you. Think of everything in life as a puzzle piece. When a puzzle piece doesn’t fit we pick up the next piece and try again – we know there will be a piece somewhere, a perfect match
So here’s my little prod to tell you to not give up the fight, stay resilient & keep doing what feels right for you
